Wise Eyes Program
Overview
The Wise Eyes Program was originally designed to assist in child abduction cases since the first three hours are critical in saving a child’s life.
Wise Eyes Crime Watch has expanded to keep the community informed on public safety issues such as burglaries/thefts, scams, drug investigations, and other criminal activity.
The program is designed to disseminate vital information to the community quickly, utilizing companies and organizations with two-way radios.
Information is also sent via e-mail or fax to participating Neighborhood Watch groups, businesses and individuals registered with the Wise Eyes Program.
The Sheriff’s Department will provide training to Wise Eyes participants in:
- Starting and maintaining a crime watch network
- Identifying and reporting suspicious activity

- Building Contractors
- Retail Merchants
- Delivery Service Workers
- School Bus Drivers
- Newspaper Delivery Drivers
- Real Estate Agents
- Postal Delivery Drivers
- Trash Disposal Workers
- Pawn Shop Operators
- Utility Service Workers
- All Concerned Citizens
