Overview

The Patrol Division of the Parker County Sheriff’s Office is the largest and most visible division within the Sheriff’s Office that provides law enforcement services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Patrol handles a varied range of calls, from noise complaints to homicides.

The Patrol Division is responsible for the routine patrol of rural Parker County, and duties include:

• Protection of life and property
• Crime prevention
• Preservation and restoration of the peace
• Detect violations of criminal law and apprehension of criminals
• Respond to all calls for assistance from citizens
• Assist other law enforcement agencies
