ParkerCountySheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a theft occurring Thursday morning in the 2100 block of FM 920 in Weatherford.
ParkerCountySheriff Larry Fowler said Stagner Industries owner who reported unknown suspects entered the premises around 10 p.m. the previous evening and stole approximately $15,000 worth of oil field parts.
The owner reported a surveillance camera captured two white males, (one with possible long hair) entering the parking lot, backing up to an equipment table and loading five packing nuts into the bed of a single cab, white Ford pickup truck. The packing nuts, valued at $3,000 each, are described as steel threaded nuts weighing about 40 pounds each and 10 inches in circumference.
The suspects took less than five minutes to enter the property, locate and load the equipment and leave the area.
