ParkerCountySheriff’s investigators are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred at the Aledo Sonic Monday evening.
ParkerCountySheriff Larry Fowler said the incident was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in the 300 block of FM 1187.
A 20-year-old female told deputies a male was crouching behind another employee’s vehicle after hours. She initially thought the man was another employee, and said hello. The suspect turned around and quickly approached the victim, while pointing a handgun at her. The suspect demanded her money.
The victim complied and the suspect ran behind a fence, out of view, taking the victim’s tip money.
The suspect was described as 6’2”, wearing a tan ski mask, dark clothing and having a deep voice. His race was unknown by the victim.
