CRIME OF THE WEEK
Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in connection to the burglary of the Aledo Bearcat Cafe Convenience Store.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the incident was reported just before 1 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of North FM 1187.
Investigators said security footage shows a male suspect with curly hair, wearing tan shorts, a T-shirt with a hoodie and a female suspect wearing a T-shirt, black short, tennis shoes with her hair in a bun. Both suspects were shown wearing masks/head coverings and were wearing gloves.
The pair was seen on the recording forcefully breaking into the convenience store through a rear entrance, filling two large bags with merchandise, then exiting a short time later with about 30 cartons of cigarettes, retailed at about $1,500. The couple fled the premises in a small SUV.
