Deputies Arrest Woman for Residential Burglary 05-28-2013

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s deputies arrested the 2012 Christmas Grinch again earlier today, (Tuesday, May 28, 2013.)

ParkerCounty Sheriff Larry Fowler said Dana Lanette Brock, 44, was booked into the Parker County Jail on charges of burglary of a habitation, after an Aledo homeowner reported a female entered the attached garage to his residence and stole a pressure washer and a gas-operated weed eater.   

Deputies responded to the 100 block of Inglewood Drive in Aledo, around 7:30 a.m., where the homeowner showed them a video capturing a female suspect in the act at 1:17 a.m., earlier today.

The suspect was seen on camera entering garage without consent of the owners and removing the items.

Deputies recognized the suspect’s physical description matched Brock, who was arrested in December for theft of Christmas decorations from residences in the Aledo area.

Deputies relocated to 135 Rim Rock, where Brock was known to reside, to conduct an initial investigation.

Sheriff’s deputies made contact with Brock, who implicated herself in the theft. The stolen items were recovered at Brock’s residence.

The case is still currently under investigations. Brock remains incarcerated at the Parker County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon. Her bond has not been set.
