Deputies Make DWI Arrest 1-04-2013

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on charges of driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop.
Shortly after midnight, Jan. 4, 2013, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7100 block of Comanche Trail in Weatherford.
The driver, identified as Chick Dale Harrison, 42, first told deputies he had not consumed alcohol, but later admitted to having three or four beers with the last beer being consumed 20 minutes prior to him driving.
Deputies observed a 5-year-old female who was unrestrained inside the vehicle Harrison was driving.
Child Protective Services were notified and a family friend was contacted to take custody of the child.
Deputies arrested Harrison, who was also found in possession of suspected marijuana.
He was booked into the Parker County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated with child under 15 and possession of marijuana under two ounces.
Harrison’s bond was set at $8,250. As of Friday afternoon, he remained incarcerated.
