Juvenile Detained for Burglary 1-07-2013

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s deputies detained a male juvenile for burglary of a habitation over the weekend.
ParkerCounty Sheriff Larry Fowler said a homeowner reported several items had been stolen from his residence in the 1700 bock of Gregg Street, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, around 8 a.m.
The homeowner told deputies unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole $600 in currency, two .22 pistols, ammunition, an MP3 Player.
The victim noted a window which appeared the suspect(s) had used to gain access to the home.
Deputies followed footprints near the window of the home which led to another nearby residence, where a 15-year-old juvenile was found in possession of a firearm and some of the stolen items.
The homeowner positively identified the items as his and the juvenile suspect was detained and released into the custody of a juvenile detention center.
The case is currently under investigation and will be forwarded to the Parker County Juvenile Courts.
