2-11-2013 Domestic Dispute Ends in Chase, Arrest

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Weatherford man Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in connection with a family violence incident.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said deputies were called to the 100 block of Pawnee Trail in the Horseshoe Bend area shortly after 8 p.m.
The female caller reported Jason Eli Thomas, 37, assaulted and choked her during a dispute.
Deputies observed the suspect en route to the call and attempted to stop Thomas, but he attempted to yield for their emergency lights and sirens.
Thomas turned down several streets in the area and returned to the residence where he was detained by deputies.
The victim reported she and Thomas were arguing when the incident turned physical. She stated Thomas restricted her airway by grabbing her around the throat and struck her in the face. She kicked Thomas in the abdomen in order to free herself.
The victim then said she obtained a .9 mm handgun and fired seven rounds into the floor of the residence, ordering him to leave. According to witnesses, Thomas left and used the Tahoe to “ram” the residence twice.
Thomas was taken to the Parker County Jail, where he was charged with evading arrest detention and assault family violence impede breath. He was released from jail Monday after posting a $25,000 bond.
