CID Investigates Damaged Mailboxes 3-1-2013

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for recently smashing dozens of mailboxes in the area of FM 1885 in ParkerCounty.
Sheriff’s Deputies were called to respond to Advance Road around 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in reference to a criminal mischief call.
The victim reported sometime overnight, unknown suspects damaged his mailbox using what seemed to be an aluminum baseball bat.
Deputies conducted an initial investigation discovering a total of 74 mailboxes had similar damage in the area including on Advance Road, FM 1885, Red Top Road and West Dry Creek Road.

Parker County Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved.
