The Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division is seeking warrants for two suspects currently in custody at the Wise County Jail.

ParkerCounty Sheriff Larry Fowler said the suspects, identified as Clark Edward Redmon, 49, of Springtown; and Maria Shone, 29, of Fort Worth, were arrested by Wise County Sheriff’s deputies last week in connection to the burglary of a WiseCounty tobacco store.

ParkerCounty Sheriff’s investigators believe the red truck tractor used in the WiseCounty burglary is the same one used to commit recent ParkerCounty offenses.

Sheriff Fowler said warrants are pending for both suspects in connection to the additional ParkerCounty cases.

The truck tractor was captured on video earlier this month during the burglary of A to Z convenience store, where the suspects stole a large amount of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

The case was named as the Crime of the Week, generating tips to the local Crime Stoppers hotline. Sheriff’s investigators said none of the tips led to the suspects currently in custody.

“Our investigators linked four local cases to the suspects which include criminal mischief, theft and burglary cases,” said Sheriff Fowler.

In one case, an Aledo business employee reported 500 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from the business property on Sept. 27, resulting in a loss of $1,950. Another report was taken from a WillowPark business, where $2,000 worth of diesel fuel was stolen.

In many of the cases, the truck tractor was used to drive through gated entrances in order to gain access to the businesses. In the A to Z burglary, the suspects connected chains from the front doors of the store to the truck tractor in order to forcefully pry open the doors when the truck tractor pulled away.

Sheriff’s investigators interviewed both Redmon and Shone earlier this week, who implicated themselves in the A to Z burglary and other fuel thefts.

The cases will be filed with the Parker County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of prosecution.
